I have returned from the piles of sand and the mountains that surround it.
The weekend in Alamosa was awesome - stayed at a friend of my brothers who has a kick ass place about 2 miles down the road from the Sand Dunes. A weekend of climbing the dunes, running down the dunes, and mountain biking around Crestone Mountain & Kit Carson.

um, well i am hoping for a rather large bbq. maybe 30 people or so? i hope atleast that many. i have enough food to feed about 30 to 40. i am planning on running it from 12 till 12, i dont want to be up too late cleaning and all.

to get here, if you are coming from denver, take 36 all the way into town, turn left on canyon, turn right on 22nd, left on walnut, and then your next immediate left is a little side street called south walnut, you go all the way to the back on the right hand side and there is #6. youll have to park on 22nd or walnut however. my cell is 720-938-1640 if you get lots.
