Ok, so what's been going on in the world of me? Not a lot, tbh. I got my hair cut today, but not much done, just got it trimmed and my fringe cut in (bangs, to those of you in the US).
So I dressed up as Drew Barrymore's character in 'Charlies angels; full throttle', for valentines day, as my girlfriend is obsessed with her. I got the dress off ebay and tried to flick my hair, didn't quite work, but the effect is kinda there. I turned up at the cafe she works at dressed like this...... x
Like someone said on the thread, if this is a professional editor, a blanket statement, "Yer grmr sux!" isn't worth the pen you write his/her checks with. But, yeah, if it's a friend, find a new friend... to edit your stuff.
Also, if you're only getting feedback on your grammar and not the content of your work, then you still need a new editor. Grammar is important, sure, to an extent, but clarity of thought/ideas, originality, cleverness, emotional impact, truth... those are all vastly more important than a misplaced comma or ending a sentence with an preposition.
