Things seem to have settled down, my mind is being pleasantly distracted as of late.

Every Thought/Feeling/Idea/Movement interlaced with prayers for the dying.

For All the Women I've ever Known, All the Tears I've got in my sickly little frame.

Fears and Motives/Demons and Angels

All in one Mind

So, after my brilliant roommates cut down another tree, a day and a half blackout and a hole in the roof later, I seem to have developed a severe, somatic, physical stress in my neck. This has been greatly debilitating for me this past weekend. The right side of my body is at 30% muscle strength from toe to fingertip and burns with random jolts...

no, I think I'll be seeing someone else. I guess my mom knows a really good psychologist who is very good with rehab and I'm going to try that route.

Bloody Sunday
Work,Work,Work

My poor, sweet ex-lady was recently beat to hell by her boyfriend. Louisiana, Its hurricane season, go figure. I guess I knew this was going to happen. She wanted to move back with me, however she has zero$$$ and it would not be mentally healthy for her to feel in debted to me. I sent her a train ticket to Chicago to...

hm. not a term I'm familiar with.

I got sent home from work an hour early because I looked like I was in a lot of pain. ha ha

what I neglected to say, when I agreed, was that it was pain of the conscience and not of the body.

Happy Independence Day to All!
The Celebration of Rebellion

Please take this time off to reflect on our civilization's dire need for revolution.
Protest with all your deepest breaths.
We hold the power of the word.
We are the Children of the Voice.
We must strive to civilize this persistent cess-pool our fore-fathers have left us.

I highly suggest adding DeVotchka to your music library.
Four-piece multi-instrumental progressive, transcendence into the literary genius of American folklore.
Sounds including, mariachi influenced guitar, violin, keys, toy piano, tuba, upright bass, minimalist drum kit.
Sings in Spanish influenced operatic tones a la Thom Yorke only with multi-ethnicity.
Passionate, energetic, turns the crowd into a whirling dervish wet dream.
From Colorado?

Breweries suck for shows....

All things do deserve mourning, I cant agree more. Things are good now. Thank you for the comment.

I have heard of DeVotchka but I have never actually listened to any of their stuff. Looks like I need to check them out. smile

in what respect?

I get to see DeVotchka tonight in Kalamazoo.
I'm happy cuz its free!
Unfamiliar with their music, so I guess I will have less than the normal presumptions.
Kraftbrau Brewery is kinda all right I guess. The micro-brewery is very much a form of modern day alchemy, so I'll have plenty of bullshit to blather on about.
Ho Hum whatever

new music is always fun.

there is a great deal of power behind words. I'm the first to jump on that bandwagon. hell, I may even be pulling the cart. considering that 18 months ago, I couldn't even feed myself, I'm pretty okay with calling what I'm going to do rehab. although I guess they call it speech therapy. (shrugs) it seems to me it has nothing to do with speech. it's learning how to use the new pathways in my brain.

it should say something about my adaptability that I've come this far on my own.

what knocked you off your feet? (if it's not too personal of a question)

The mind is an amazing paranormal machine.

For the past two or so years, to further hone my marketing expertise, I have made the mistake of studying psychoanalysis. Obsessively curious, I have opened doors left shut for only the most cold-hearted or the most compassionate of minds. I hope I have the strength for the latter.

Φ 487. THE sphere of spirit at this stage breaks up into two regions. The one is the actual world, that of self-estrangement, the other is that which spirit constructs for itself in the ether of pure consciousness raising itself above the first. This second world, being constructed in opposition and contrast to that estrangement, is just on that account not free from it; on...
