I was born in Long Island, NY and lived there til I was about 8 and moved with my family to New Port Nowhere, FL. I grew up there mostly and around other parts of Florida. I moved to MN during 9/11 and made my home here for about 7 years. I currently live in a house in Bloomington with 3 roommates and 3 cats. I'm learning guitar and music production. I hope to someday have a musical career. Music is my passion and I love seeing live shows (local or national). I hope to have my own production company someday as well and start a band of my own. I hang out at a few local Irish pubs to kick back and drink with friends (as well as listen to good Irish music). My favorite alcoholic drinks are Jameson Irish whiskey and Absinthe. If you want to know more, just talk to me or check out my myspace or livejournal.
It's been a while since I've posted in here. I really like the new format, so I will probably log in more often and update more. I have 2 other blogs. My main one is Livejournal and the other is MySpace. I suppose I can just copy and paste from those, so I'll do that. Since I got a new digital cam, I also plan on making a set for myself instead of just crappy cam pics and old pictures. So here's the update for this week:
Man, I'm so glad the week is almost over! I worked a day of overtime and I've been having a kick-ass productive week. When I left today, I had over $63/hr revenue and hope to get up to 80-100 tomorrow. I guess it depends on whether I have any serious issues, but I had 3 computers almost done when I left today, so I can just pick up those in the morning and finish them right away and work on finishing the rest. I'm quickly becoming a master at spyware/virus cleaning.. hehe.
Next week, I'm scheduling an appointment for the dentist as soon as I find a good one around the area. I just want to go to one that'll make it as painless as possible.
I'm learning a few songs on guitar.. fairly easy ones, but I'm still progressing, so that's good. One of them is "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica. The other is "Hash Pipe" by Weezer. Oh.. I started learning "Undone (The Sweater Song) by Weezer too. Weezer songs are pretty fun and easy to play. Metallica takes a little practice, but there are easy parts too. 2 things I'm trying to do in addition to that is learning the fretboard (all notes memorized) and ear training myself. Once I do that, I'll be ready for pretty much anything I decide to learn, which will be really nice and a lot more fun to play.
That is all for now...
