Well, I am wrapping up the project I am working on in Des Moines. Next stop, Raleigh, NC. Home this week, then back on the road. I am not a fan of travelling so much, but it keeps me employed, and I do like the company I work for.
I just got the hot tub fixed. Yeah! Time for some Giggity in the tub....

I am worried about my uncle. He was rushed to the hospital this morning with a large lump on his side. It is apparently an intestinal blockage. I am geographically the closet, so I may need to drive down to Lakeland near Tampa if things go south.

I was really happy to be a part of the trial as a witness. He only got life because it's nearly impossible for the death sentence if there is no body. It's scary though. It's sadly something that will stick with me my whole life.

A few minutes ago, my 4 month old son was looking at me, smiling, raised his hand, pointed his finger at me and said "DA". It was sooooo awesome.
Now I have the joy of travelling to Des Moines IA for work. Luckily it is a decent project and I will spend most of the time working from home.

OK, we had an early ultrasound. Nothing very identifiable as a child, but I saw and heard the heartbeat for the first time!
