By year. Go.

The boyfriend and I recently put all of our books in boxes, which isn't so impressive in itself. The impressive part is that he created a speadsheet that notes the box number each book is in. No more tearing boxes apart to find one book!

Looking at old blog posts to figure out when I bought my iPod (so I can post about it in my other blog). Reading some comments. I sure miss a you guys. Which is weird because I've met very few of you.

A neighbourhood populated by the people who comment here would be quite something, I think.

I'm really disappointed that you, of all people, are responsible for getting it wrong then.

Sh'papping.

it's a contraction. Of which two words; no one is certain.
mk700c:

To what part of town will you be moving?

Will it facilitating us getting together more for fancy drinks and excellent nachos?

I note that Twilight books outsold Harry potter books in Canada in 2007. I assume this is your nefarious doing?

Browsing the blogs on this site I get the feeling that there are an awful lot of people around who don't know what they want and don't like what they've got. And maybe that's just how most people are.

If so, that would explain talk radio, bumper stickers, 2 terms of Bush, xenophobia, low voter turnout, internet discussion boards, credit-funded luxury, and other things that...

I expected an ending different than a slap, and note that this level of attention to individual pox could consume a significant amount of your life given the exponential rate of infection. The logical defense appears to be monasticism or several 900 page works of bifurcated satire. I will apply to be your first penitent, cleaning the library and keeping the pencils neat.

But ... but ... butt ... I can't wipe myself.

Moving soon.

Ridiculously cheap rent and more space and amenities. And very much our style. And even closer to work for me. And better configured for expansion of the family unit than the place we're in now.

Looking forward to being through with the next 5 weeks, during which we'll pack up our lives (mostly cookware, clothes, books, and assorted digital optical discs) and unpack...

You know what's worse than boys with emo haircuts?

Guys my age with emo haircuts.

Dude, you're old enough to know that no establishment is shaken by your shellaced bangs. You look like something the mall dragged in.

Good idea?

I guess at the very least you should (hopefully) be expecting some essays.

Thanks.

How's life up your way?

Many thanks. If you;re in the area this week, and you see a guy with a lanyard about his neck who looks like Clark Kent (no, really...) ask him to buy you a pint. That'll be me.
jamie_trecker:
Quite enjoyed C'est What here last night. Drank my way through about 1/3 of the list, all quite good stuff!

Finally used my Kiva gift certificate (thanks again, Oryx!) after paying off the last of my nagging credit cards with my generous annual bonus. Clearing the debt and dabbling in the world of microfinance are in fact not directly related events, though there is something about getting a loan paid off that makes the world look full of possibility. I don't regret going from...

2 points for use of "patio" as a verb!

What does your this week look like?

I'm done at the office by 4:30, but nowhere near downtown for at least an hour thereafter. Let's scheme.

Thank you, old friend.

Monty was my best little buddy......my best friend for seven years. He had a life full of love & happiness. That's somewhat consoling...... but I miss him so.
