Wow. I've neglected my buddies here. I'm sorry. But, I do have an excuse!
I've been quite busy lately.
Since last Monday, I have managed to lose 13 (yes, 13!) pounds. I have been eating more healthy foods and getting out and moving my ass. The humidity/heat sweat the pounds away in no time.

I've spent way too much time in the last two years just making it through the days, better times seem to be working their way in and all I can think about is how the bad times give shape and definition to the good.
Sometimes all you gotta do is buckle down with Sparklehorse, Belle & Sebastian, Leonard Cohen, NICO, or something comparable and let your soul have time to flex and express itself.
Hardtimes come, hardtimes are to be survived, we always come out stronger on the other end.
Just remember that you are never really alone and its never really as bad as it seems and one day, I know, all will soon look up.

It's now officially "Mothers Day" so...

anyhow... I left a window open for a good part of the day. Now there are lightning bugs in the house. The lights are off and they are flying around and flashing everywhere. I think there is probably about 5 of them. It's pretty neat. Fairly surreal.

I was supposed to see the doctor this morning, but that got botched up. I now have an appointment for Monday. Not looking forward to the doctor ripping part of my body off. Its not pleasant.
