To Whom It May Concern;
I am writing in regards to the manner in which my roommate was treated on the phone by an individual of Wald Management Company. I find the way she was treated to be highly disrespectful and unprofessional and I want to express my disappointment in the situation.
My roommate called to report a potential maintenance issue this past Friday afternoon and almost immediately received a call back by an individual who proceeded to yell at her and then hang up.
This individual did not ask any questions to assess the situation, but rather launched into a diatribe about waiting too long to call and hung up saying that he was not going to fix the problem. I would have completely respected a response that informed us that we had waited too long to have service performed this weekend, and that a work order would not go out until Monday. In fact I actually expected that response.
I do not know who it was who called us back. Frankly I do not care if it was my landlord, a member of the maintenance crew, or the president of the company. I feel it was a completely unprofessional way to treat a tenant who was simply reporting a potential problem.
Furthermore, the problem has now worsened in the apartment and I would like clarification on what "I'm not fixing it" means. It is now 58 degrees regardless of what measures I take to bring it up. Did he mean he was not fixing the problem this weekend, or ever? I will address the issue on my own if need be but I would just appreciate clarification on the matter. Frankly I would rather he not be the individual to come into my home to make the necessary repairs.
I am disappointed that I have to write this letter. I have enjoyed my time up until this point as a tenant of this apartment and have always done my best to take excellent care of the property.
Thank you for your time,

I hope they find out who it is and fire him.
