Anyway, my first hit was this dude that stiffed the boss outta $1200. Of course, boss man could give a fuck about some chump change like that, but we hadda send a message.

Anywhoo, I saw the mark at a coffee shop and we shoot the shit for a bit. I slapped on my best smile, told my lamest jokes, you know how I do. Then he excused himself to go to the bathroom. That's when I put strictnine into his burger. It took a good half hour to take effect but he was at home and I was long gone. A perfect murder indeed bwhahahahaha!!!!

i've never bothered looking for pre-packaged stuff, but i've got a recipe! i usually make a big batch of this stuff, then split it into little ziplocs and freeze it so i can just pull out a little at a time for frying.

There's an egyptian restaurant in SF at 41st Ave and Balboa; you could check if they have take-out, or are willing to sell you uncooked ta'miyya to fry yourself?

Here's the recipe:
1 pound peeled, split, dried fava beans
1 garlic clove, chopped
3/4 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 bunch scallions (green tops only), chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
Toasted sesame seeds
Vegetable oil



Soak fava beans in water to cover generously overnight.

The next day, drain the beans and place in a food processor with garlic clove and pure until ground. Add parsley; the green tops of the scallions; the ground cumin; the baking powder; the salt; and the fresh cilantro. Pulse and process until thoroughly ground and the mixture comes together. Turn out into a bowl, with your hands, and form into 2-inch balls. Flatten each ball slightly and roll in toasted sesame seeds. Place on a pan, cover, and refrigerate until you are ready to fry.

Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a saucepan to 365 degrees. Drop a few tamiyya into the oil and fry until golden brown, 5 to 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels

Chico refuses to let me brush his teeth. He acts like I'm trying to murder him. I gave up on the Greenies because of what you told me about them. Now I'm using this breath spray that supposedly kills bacteria and plaque and whatnot. Billie's still young so maybe I can train her to accept teeth brushing

I'll try the tooth wipes. Do they smell minty? I think Chico's main problem is that he is scared of anything that smells strongly and not like food.

The buses don't run that early and a taxi will be like $40. What is the alternative way to get there... with the subway and tram and stuff? Do you know how I can look that up?

yay i figured i would end up eating more and gaining some while you're here.

just to let you know, we are using paper plates and cups, and plastic utensils. i threw out most of my dishes. i fucking hate doing dishes.
