here are two more from me. martin has published a couple more as well. mine are the odds, martin's the evens.

this correspondence is keeping me writing & allowing me to practice using forms. the constantly moving subject matter keeps me on my toes.

i am full of amazing things right now. i'm looking forward to restarting my life when i move back to texas. if anyone wants to hang out when i get home, let me know.

A mother of twins
Must have three hearts. When cut loose,
A silent stampede.

Horses cut to look like birds
In the mirrors of the sky.

In the cylinder,
Many lines speak volumes as
If they were bookshelves.

From the meniscus down, &
The volume up, read aloud.

And in the black square
It is silent. The letters
Can't find their way home.

Pages are eager to turn
Night, while nights turn to the page.

The child ferments in
Its sphere until it flows forth
Like a cask of wine.

Child, bow your head, lay your ear
Down, fill your belly, grow wise.

The body a sphere.

In a quarry of children,
