It is hot and sticky today and I just want to tear my clothes off and go swimming... anybody own a private beach?

I find it interesting that a backyard deck, while being constructed, actually behaves like a large scale resonator, amplifying the sounds of all the tools used in its construction. I am mostly referring to the wonderful sound of a 12V cordless screwdriver. We all know how pleasant that sound is.

I would not, although I did once... it hurts to remember.
I mustered the strength, broke through the boredom, went out... and played the worst game of soccer ever. Then I melted back into my indoor boredom and sat down to write some more.
