My cat's dying. Fk'n Sucks. Makes me wanna barf. All I can think of is the day she made my house home, how tuff she was for a bitty little kitten, rightious even...Now she's skin and bone, but with a huge purr..I just wanna make her better, but I can't... frown

I try to live by the words "Live life passionately, outlook unknown", but with that one has to face a lot of fears, ask a lot of hard questions... share and talk about what's real be transparent in interactions with others. I'm working on this, but it's scary to be that open. I remind myself that life is finite, so I'd best live it. robot

As per backcountry, I really haven't done any at all. Unless you count the cat skiing in Argentina, but I wouldn't. I've had a pass for the last few years and since I tend to be pretty lazy I'm more likely to go where the lift will take me than to hike. Embarrassing but true. I guess the best advice is to go with someone you know. Coolmelon and I are planning on heading out with a friend this winter so I might have more to share a bit later in the season. biggrin
