Allow me to explain.
Few months back (end of last year) I went out a couple of times with a chick from work. After new years I asked if she wanted to go to dinner again and she said no, that she had just got back together with her ex. Bummer, but it was OK.
Move ahead couple months. About the same time things with south with the girl I was seeing, the chick from work had broken up with here b/f. She, the girl from work, called needing advice about her car. By the end of the phone call she and I made plans to go hiking that day. Since then, we have been hanging out about once a week, going to dinner, and sometimes going back to her place. Nothing happened, watch a few movies. I was unsure about what was going on between us, if anything. So I thought "hey stupid, better make some sort of move or she'll think your not interested"
Last night we had dinner and went back to her place and hung out. I slowly tried moving closer on the couch while we watched tv, trying not to be too obvious. By the end of the night I was rubbing her leg, she never moved or told me to stop. I didn't realize it was because she had fallen asleep, FAIL haha. So when I was about to leave, I asked her if she felt if this was going anywhere. She was surprised by the question and wasn't sure. She thought we were just hanging out as friends. I agreed that we were hanging out as friends but thought there was something more, and that I would be interested in seeing what happens. She said we could talk more about this later, when she wasn't still half asleep. Yeah I know, I have awesome timing.
This is were I usually screw things up. What I mean to say and what comes out are usually different. Pretty much since I left last night I've been thinking what would have been better to say. I know it's better to just forget about what happened and just wait until I see her again but that's just the way my mind works.
