As someone who spent the last 10 or 11 years of their career doing computer graphics and such I marvel at how incompetent I am trying to navigate anything online. I can hardly type beyond thirty words a minute - not that big a problem really since I was being paid for my design sense. But I have to admit I'm essentially clueless how to post anything, how to respond to anything.
I prefer to think I'm just screwing up as opposed to people just blowing me off. The few replies I've gotten and managed not to accidently delete have been quite gracious. I guess I need to invest in a few "For Dummies" books or just go private and quit embarrasing myself.
I really like this site, and I spend more time reading peoples profiles, news, interviews and such than looking at the photo sets. Hey, I'm getting old. I just wish I could learn to interact with the people I find interesting.
As the Rolling Stones sang what must be around forty years or so ago, "what a drag it is getting old." (from "Mother's Little Helper."}
Should anyone respond can you guide me through how to reply? I guess this is the modern day equivalent of helping an old person across the street. Any scouts out there?
