Tomorrow and Yesterday....
Todays thoughts
how can you truly own something? Do you own something just
because you claim it as "mine" as in thats mine. i.e.
thats my car, or thats my cat, or thats my boy/girl friend.
How can/could someone be so petty that they could believe
they own another living thing, it being human, or beast,
or human beast? If you love something wouldn't you love it
truly, freely, and purely? How can you own land?
Who owned it in the first place to give you the right to own it now?
Lets look at pets as an example; so when is the animals
freedom infringed on? is it when you chain it to the ground
so it can not move or when you train it to be so dependent
on you to survive it knows nothing else? What about keeping
it fenced in to your yard? or chained to a post? what if
that was a person what if that was you, I thought people
wanted to follow their oh so clever "golden Rule" or is it
"he who has the gold makes the rules"? Now this ties into jealousy.
jealousy is the opposite of what love is:
How do I describe love?
Its that feeling you have when every
other turn is happiness,
energized by your own interactions within
the actions an interactions with reactions
to your life were all you want
is for people to feel the way you do.
What do I think makes loving someone
different than just caring about them?
Its when you want them to always be happy.
The desire to have them in your life forever,
and knowing nothing could ever change that.
it is truly wanting their happiness,
for the pure reason that their
joy will bring you happiness,
no matter what it is
that could/would make them happy as long
as it does not hurt them.
What does being in love mean to me?
that's as the before mentioned question
though you also want to share
their physical affections
not as a way to please yourself,
but as a way to bring them pleasure
through experiencing themselves with you.
thoughts on caring and loving;
The caring for to an extent where you would sacrifice,
your comfort without diminishing
or taking away from who you are.
For changing your self is dependence not sharing.
To be free and to allow freedom
rain and flow where ever it would.
The desire to provide an allow joy,
happiness, and to come, within and only through truth.
To let go of self serving desires for self gain,
it should be mutual respecting and representation.
Even if it might be temporally painful truth
is complete in its admiration.
To provide what is in the best interest for all not personal craving.
Bringing forth happiness in others even in individuals,
and realizing their joy is reflected into your joy.
So ownership, and jealousy are not love or freedom,
which means love and freedom to me is what
I believe truth, and happiness to be.
