This week has been entirely too crazy. Stuff for classes and work hasn't been about average, but practice for the ACM International Collegiate Programming Competition has eaten abbout 15 hours since Saturday. Tomorrow (11/12) is the real thing. The whole event will take 14 hours, including travel. The actual event consists of:
* teams of 3 (or less) college students
* 1 computer
* 8-9 problems
* 5 hours
It's feels weird that there's just the regionals and then the world finals. On the other hand, my region alone has 155 teams competing at 9 sites simultaneously. Only the first-place team advances. I'm nervous.
At least the competition will be followed by Spaceball with the Satanic Mechanics.
