In the event that anyone is curious, I finally got around to adding a pic of a small drawing I finished recently. The impressive part is that I finally figured out how to do this pic thing...um surreal

Minnesota did suck just as I predicted-(it wasn't self-fulfilling prophecy, it just sucks)

I have some new friends yay--I love getting new friend...fresh from the patch. I'd like...

Hey there Mister. It's me, your friendly neighborhood blah blah blah. They gave me this account when they asked me to be an SG photographer. isn't the world an ironic place?
lostcontact:
P.S. I said no, but I kept the account.

reading a great book "The Golden Bough" I can't believe I missed this one (considering it was published in the 2o's)

going to Minnesota sat---yuck

my mind is racing I haven't slept much lately

Went to see a John Wilde exhibit in Milwaukee. The guy is 87 years old and is still cranking out the work-pretty god-damn impressive.

There has been 5 (high school)suicides here...

Awesome! How cool is this? I certainly wish you the best of luck in your framing business! It's a difficult business to stay in. My shop did really well at first, but then after a year I made a bad decision on location, and moved the shop...and that was all she wrote. Too many competitors close by, and a freaking Micheals right around the corner! What was I thinking?? I was made an excellent offer on rent and advertising, and thought that the customers I had already could sustain the move and then I would build on that. This is a small town...and there are 17 framers in the immediate area right now...another 4 popped open after I had opened my business. I've been doing framing for about 10 years now I guess...I love the work, so I am really hoping there is room in Denver for another shop.
Enough framing babble...sorry! blush

Take care! biggrin

Thankee for the b-day song. Was there a dance with it too? ... how bout some jager....?
I love ramblings!
And I love some of Bob Chinn's food except just last month I wasn't paying attention to what I was getting: some shrimp-pasta dish with globs of marinara. puke Whatever you do, stay away from it -

Damn! I have so much shit to do I don't even know where to start. Trying to keep this business going is a never ending battle. I have a show of entirely new work in May (and I work soooo slow). I'm publishing a newsletter of all the art related stuff going on here. coordinating info, designing and printing. I'm traveling all over the country taking...

I've been up to nothing. My grass is not green, so to speak. I hope things are more bright and shiny and new on your lawn.

The things that you realize as you get older: You realize that people are doing the same stupid shit that they were doing when they were 21 but they're just better at hiding it now, that sucks. You realize that you trade in your old friends for new ones that you generally don't have anything in common with except for a street address or a...

Meh. Setting boundaries gives a half-assed feel to things. But it was okay & it was super COLD last night.

How's it going?

Since no one is reading anymore-it has a dancing in the dark feel to it-which is ok:

After working with narrative/realism in my scribblings for as long as i can remember. I woke up one day disgusted with where my work was and where it was headed. Initially I couldnt figure out why, after all I sell enough stuff, people like it, and it was...

Shows you how much I know about Kenosha. blush

I'm going to hunt down that gallery this weekend. I definitely need to stop passing up on shops - miss out on good stuff.

So I ran out & bought a new dvd player & Charlie.

I didn't freak out so much this time.

How many paintings do you have to have before you can do an exhibit? I'm ignorant.

Hello people. We returned from Austin, Texas a few weeks ago. It was nice to see actual real life green grass again.
I'm offering my advanced drawing class again I hope it runs because I have a ton of torturous projects lined up for them. The problem is that the advanced class never runs (the dull beginning/intermediate class always runs) blah! I'm so close to...
