Since no one is reading anymore-it has a dancing in the dark feel to it-which is ok:

After working with narrative/realism in my scribblings for as long as i can remember. I woke up one day disgusted with where my work was and where it was headed. Initially I couldnt figure out why, after all I sell enough stuff, people like it, and it was...

*ahem*

Shows you how much I know about Kenosha. blush

I'm going to hunt down that gallery this weekend. I definitely need to stop passing up on shops - miss out on good stuff.

So I ran out & bought a new dvd player & Charlie.

I didn't freak out so much this time.

How many paintings do you have to have before you can do an exhibit? I'm ignorant.

Hello people. We returned from Austin, Texas a few weeks ago. It was nice to see actual real life green grass again.
I'm offering my advanced drawing class again I hope it runs because I have a ton of torturous projects lined up for them. The problem is that the advanced class never runs (the dull beginning/intermediate class always runs) blah! I'm so close to...

I'm always surprised when anyone reads these things. My disbelief is the central reason that I dont update often because really...who cares?
but today I fell like writing skull
I'm having a major artistic crisis, in that I havent really found anything relevent to say. I'm getting to the age where it's time to do some signifigant work but I'm currently stagnant. blah!
It's not enough...

Just finished reading "on the road"--if I would have read it at 18 I think my life would have turned out differently.

I'm bored!

I've never been as unproductive, lazy, tired, sick, bored,or unmotivated as I am now
I've never been surrounded by as many incompetent people as I am now
I've never thought about my own mortality as much as I do now

something...

Hello!! I haven't been around for awhile, but, well, here I am!
-I started teaching a brand new drawing class again. Like always there is one person who will try to be a rebel and resist. BUT I will break her down! heh heh
-The stuffy art opening went pretty well-It's always fun to watch people react to your work, and considering the average age...

Oh I guess I should update...geez, so touchy. wink Well I officially quit my gallery, so I am in search of a new one. I have my eye on one in Milwaukee, so we'll see what happens.
I snuck a small painting into a local(but fairly prestigious) juried show here in town. The opening is an Nov. 7th (I can't wait to lurk in the shadows...

Oil on masonite; awesome. Next time I down there near Kenosha I'll have to pinpoint a gallery with your work in it. smile

My comic book is about a girl who has been murdered but returns as a ghost one year later trapped inside an elementary school. When she returns, she has no recollection of who she is or what she's doing there, but her memories come back when she encounters certain people. It's part gothic horror, part murder mystery; it's something I will self-publish when I get enough pages. I update with new pages every week on my website.
ayem:
Good luck with the show!

So are you looking to show at a gallery, or run one? If you want to show at something soon, Turner Hall always has a huge art show every fall. Each artist puts up 4 pieces, and it only costs 20 dollars. Dance companies perform, the space is amazing, and it is quite an event- would you be interested? I can look it up.....I think it's called the Beauty Benfit....

hello people, I've been busy and scarce lately. So in the unlikely event that anyone cares here is the deal:
-I've been painting alot lately(which is good cause I be lazy)
-my youngest daughter is kicking ass at her gymnastics meets(I'm starting to save for my olympic tickets) wink
-I got screwed by my gallery so after 2 years it's time to say good-bye to them...
