FINALLY The Hodge HAS COME BACK!...to the in-ternet

I have been without the internet for a week. I know this is not that long a time, but I am currently reliant on it for job applications and interview details, so it was really annoying having to find another internet source just to use for a few minutes at a time.

So I passed my Retail...

Hello one and all

The Retail Management course I signed up for has so far been pretty pointless, as most of what we have "learnt" is just common sense, everything else has been rushed through so much that you don't have time to absorb the information. Basically I am just waiting the have all the booklets, so I can go through and make notes on...

we wanted to make it more complicated but it was almost impossible and rather than produce something way complicated, the idea was stripped right back. x

Hello one and all

I started my new Retail Management course this week, two days a week for five weeks, and if I pass I will have a NVQ qualification. This qualification is meant to help me get some form of Team Manager position, I know the course centres around retail, but the skills we will be learning could easily be used in other industries....

This is a contemplative blog from Anonwhy?mous

After much deliberation I have decided not take Muay Thai classes. The main reason for this is I cannot find local classes that teach the specific style I wish to learn. Ontop of that it seems to be a martial art that requires a lot of hours to master, which I simply do not have the money for,...

Hello one and all

I am still unemployed, but not from the lack of trying, I have even been on a course for the unemployed to help me get a job. Most of it was about how to behave in an interview, which I found quite funny, as I need to get an interview to apply this learning and I haven't even got that far...

Hello one and all

How is everybody?

I am one very bored man. This unemployment is really getting to me, most of the time I have no idea what day of the week it is, the rest of time I am trying to think of what to do each day.
Mainly I have been working out. I managed to lose 1.5 Stone (21lbs) in under...

Calgary is in the contient of North America! I'm also rather partial to Atlanta, Georgia and all of South Carolina!

Well we really need people to come and support us at the trainee shows so will let everyone know if I definitely get booked! You should come to training some time! We train on Sundays in Edmonton and its a tenner a session.

Hello again

My previous blog has been proven insignificant, it turns out there IS a cinematic widescreen television, and here it is. I think it is one sexy looking television, but it was also brought to my attention that programmes televised in widescreen would not be to the same size, so could this be fixing one problem only to be creating another?...Or...is this more reason...

Hello one and all

During these months of unemployment, which have growing ever longer, I have been spending a lot of my time watching movies.
Over this time something has been lingering on my mind...Why after over a decade of the widescreen television and "home cinema systems", which has now gone into the high definition, has there still not been one True cinematic widescreen television?...

Hmm. On that site they are illuminating the background when you view it 21:9, but not when you view it 16:9. I mean I know all advertising uses these tricks and the 21:9 probably does look better, but I still think it's naughty.

Hello one and all

I have just treated myself to a Robert Rodriguez all-nighter - try to guess which four of his films I watched?

He is my biggest movie idol, as he is more than a director, more than a writer, he is truly "the one man film crew". It is unbelievable how many things he can do during the production of each of...

Hello one and all

Last night's gig was awesome and it got me thinking...

...It is my 25th birthday later this year, I want to do something big, but I haven't got anything planned. So I am now thinking about hiring out a venue of some sort, getting 2 or 3 unsigned bands to perform, and partying into the night.

What do you guys think?...

CALLING THE UK SG COMMUNITY...
...Specifically people based in and around London.

I know this might be short notice, but there is a gig at Vibe Bar on Brick Lane this Friday evening, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me.
The bands performing are Bo Bruce and Bitter Things.
If you are free and like the sound of these bands, please...

Hello again to you all

In two days I have just seen, in my personal opinion, two awful movies - Knowing and Twilight.

Knowing. I knew before they knew. How I knew it, I don't know, I just knew. I thought what I knew was I bit too ridiculous, but what do you know, it wasn't.

Twilight was not a film aimed for...
