Okay it has been a few days since I have blogged. Things here have been crazy. I have been getting ready to leave on a short notice deployment. The only good thing about this one is that it is NOT back to the middle east. I can't say when I am leave nor where I am going yet, but if I am lucky and have internet access, I will let you guys know.
But I do have something to bitch about. AT&T. I use to love these guys when I was going on deployment, all I did was call up and tell them to discontinue my service until I call back, and when I was back stateside I would call them up and say turn my phone back on. No activation fee, no cancelation fee, easy as pie. Now they want a copy of my orders in order to turn it off. I hate companies that do that. WE CANNOT GIVE ORDERS TO PEOPLE!!!! There is this great thing called OPSEC (Operational Security). So giving it to companies is the dumbest thing ever. But back to AT&T, they changed this policy a while ago yet have never told anyone of the change. No e-mail, text, call, or anything. WTF, not telling me at all has killed me since I didn't know about the change I couldn't get the right paper work from my command to tell them I am going. So now I have to wait until I get there and try to get it done to them.
I am hoping that this deployment is going to be a good one. My last one was just mediocre. It was fun to hit ports and not be stuck in a FOB, but, overall the ship I was on was just meh. It was awesome at first but by the sixth month I was ready to just get off the ship. Though I have a feeling that this one will be a lot better.
But I will have pics of everything that is going on deployment and such after I come back.
