Picked up my new bass yesterday! Now I can't wait for the Roswell show....

Interesting Saturday... Cleaned house, started building a dog house, went to Lowes for supplies, got drunk, practiced my bass, wore a bark collar... All with a pulled back.

By the way... I love my wife!!

So in the past few weeks... Tried to quit the band. They wouldn't let me. Finished the motorcycle course. Survived the lake (even thought I'm feeling it now). Finally decided on a time and location to go camping in Northern NM. And figured out I'm not going across the ocean anytime soon.

It's confirmed... My band will be headlining the UFO festival in Roswell! Time to get serious with my bass again...

The band and I rocked a biker rally last night... Once again, we played for 5 extra hours because they wouldn't let us stop playing! The manager of the rally spoke to the crowd about how we were better than any of the other bands they hired and how we should headline all of their events. The crowd liked that idea... Just finished the show... I did well. At the end of set 2, the crowd said "no" to us stopping so the club told us to continue... 3 hours later, we decided to stop... And we had to tell them we were stopping. Guess that means we did good.

Darkkitten is leaving tomorrow... Means I'm cleaning house tomorrow.

Band is back on for tomorrow.... It is a smaller show, but at least I am playing live. They ignored a few songs I learned and added a few I didn't, but I think I will have them down before tomorrow night. The wife is in charge of pics for me to post on here....

This Friday's show is cancelled... Looks like I won't be playing bass for the band anytime soon...

The wife is leaving town for the weekend... Sad she is leaving me for a weekend, but on the bright side I can clean house. Easier to do that when she is not here...

Hope everyone is having a good week so far...

So woke up with 2 "love bruises" on my shoulder as well as a swollen bottom lip... The wife is in worse shape, though. She has been vomiting all day. She tried blaming it on me, but out of her 7 drinks, I only asked her to do 2. I even tried stopping her at one point. Don't think she'll be drinking anytime soon...

The wife and I got drunk last night... She was more so than I. She had some cherry liquor, 2 glasses of Sailor Jerry's with Pepsi, and 3 Irish car bombs... I think. Needless to say, she may be in bed all day. But it was great to find ways to entertain ourselves all night...
