i know. it is sad. i've always been a big hillary fan, back when she was all frumpy and said what she meant. i think both clintons think they have a divine right to whatever they might want from the dnc.

and don't even get me started on the whole "you can't be a feminist (or even a woman) if you don't vote for clinton" thing. my email has been flooded with stuff from organizations i've supported for years, acting as though there isn't even a question of supporting clinton. am i making sense? it's late, and i took medicine for a migraine earlier. ack.

this protracted campaign has made me completely addicted to cable news. it's terrible. i can't stop.

I'm going to be in town for the X show, but I'm actually going to see them in NYC instead. Though the thought has crossed my mind to go to both.

I think Raygun was partially responsible for my early interest in design. I know for a fact I still have a bunch stashed in my childhood room.

Do you know Joe Polevy from Almighty Design? I interviewed with him and I know he worked at Raygun as well.

That speech was brilliant. I love Bill Clinton.

Yeah, St. Patrick's is pretty crazy, what with all the flying cabbages and all. Mardi Gras-- ten times more so, plus the entire city shuts down, people are even more drunk, etc. It's a worthwhile experience, but a lot of people I know prefer Jazz Fest. Both are events I think everyone should experience at least once.

The Jazz Funeral for Democracy was basically a protest of the inauguration. I missed it, because I had a ton of work to do, but I heard it was pretty good and had really high turnout. Howard Zinn spoke, and say what you will about him, the man is a good writer and thoroughly committed to progressive causes. A little dogmatic, but I like him and I'm sad to have missed him.

I'll be in my Tim Wakefield shirt and he'll have on a grey sox hat.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you, unless you see us first.
