Last night I saw a cute boy in ridiculous red sneakers at Barnes and Noble. He had glasses on and scruffy light brown hair and was yum! but I had no time to gawk because I had to look for my brother Daniel and lust over books I can't afford now since I bought those Russian novels Monday night.
Daniel, Dad, and I met our friend Catherine for dinner at a taqueria with her screaming toddler. Good times. It's cool, though, because Catherine took me to New Orleans for free and she's taking me salsa dancing some weekend when I'm actually in Houston. Salsa dancing is yummy!
Already saw last night's episode of Family Guy, but enjoyed it nonetheless.
Yesterday I had to wait for over two hours to speak to a financial aid counselor about my FAFSA status. There was a herd of us that had to sign in and take a seat. At one point, the counselor left the room for 30 minutes. I called the school from my cell phone and told them, because everyone had been waiting over an hour at that point, and the operator said to go let the assistant dean know, so I did. He found the counselor, and her slow ass was like "I told them I'd be back in a minute" and he told her 30 minutes is too long, so I was pleased and went back to the waiting room. We all laughed our asses off when the lady got back, because when she was calling off names to see who was still left, "Tawny Cheeks" was one of the names listed.
Anyways, my dad didn't want to make the corrections to my FAFSA by submitting his tax return (he's a shady lawyer), so he payed for my classes out of pocket. I'm taking cultural anthropology and principles of reasoning, so we'll see how this goes. They weren't my first picks, but when you register extremely late, you take what you can get.
Happy Hump Day!

I will totally see you guys at the SG burlesque thing, I wouldn't miss it for the world. How was your break? I'm just so happy to be back! The ATL is the place for me at the moment.

mmmmm Russian writers! I've still got the Idiot by Dostoevsky and Tolstoy's The Ressurection sitting in my "to read" stack. Nabakov's Invitation to a Beheading is incredible too...
Family Guy! you and Havoc should have a Family Guy marathon.
I hate FAFSA and I hate student loans and bursar's offices and stoopid financial aid counselors and...and... sprouts. I hate sprouts.
Hump day? no one told me! I guess I'm not going to be able to participate.
