I really guess it's not my time.

I have been looking for a house for a little while now. I placed bids on 2 of them and was denied for both. Both reasons were pretty much bullshit. I tried to place a bid on another and it was already sold before it went on the market. I thought my luck had changed when I placed a bid on the most recent house. My offer was accepted last Friday (8/15/08) and I was just waiting to go on to the next step. Come to find out, the selling agent didn't have the seller sign the offer sheet, and a new bid came in. They liked this bid better and since they had only verbally agreed to mine, they accepted the new one. That is absolute bullshit. I had already begun shopping my trailer around looking for someone to buy it. I fortunately hadn't found someone really interested yet, but that's beside the point. I guess it just isn't my time to buy a house. I don't know if I am going to keep looking at this point or not. Oh well. I will figure it out in time.
