ALL ABOUT THE RIFFS PRESENTS A NIGHT OF MADNESS AND A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR THE LOVELY ASH AND THE MIGHTY MARK (WATK / HOUSE OF COCK FAME)................
ARMY OF FLYING ROBOTS
Have been playing a lot throughout the UK diy and hardcore scenes for a few years now but have never made it north of the border. They hail from nottingham and are pretty much the best fast hardcore band in the country. Most of their stuff is brutal and fast hardcore thrash but they have moments of chaotic, metallic breakdowns and even the occasional epic post rock part. Fans of orchid, german hardcore, thrash, and grind will not be dissapointed.
Check out some shit hot mp3s: http://www.hxcmp3.com/bands/6493/
IX
The mighty IX from edinburgh operate at the opposite end of the spectrum. Slow and heavy dirgey doom that crushes the skull! They have plenty of melodic parts with some lovely vocals to keep it interesting. Epic sludge that celebrates the slower side of life.

MESA VERDE
Have been playing loads in glasgow now and keep getting better. They take the epic songs of envy and city of caterpillar, remove the polish and make it sound raw. It ends up sounding like classic mid 90s emo especially breakwater and closure. Plenty of clean build ups and screamalongs.
+ SPECIAL MYSTERY GUESTS!!! (Maybe)!
SATURDAY 15TH JANUARY, 13TH NOTE, 4, 8PM START!
And no, I didn't write the blurb.
