I live a pretty isolated life. There's not much in the way of socialization anymore. I go to work, go to the gym, go home, and go to sleep. That's Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I occasionally go out of town to visit people. Sometimes, though, my weekends are silent and I might say no more than 5 words.

You know what, being straight edge is your decision, and if someone can't understand that, well, nuts to them. As long as you don't force your ideals on someone else (which it doesn't appear that you do). Sometimes people just have zero curiosity about drugs/sex/alcohol/smoking, I find it odd that most of society can't accept that.

I'm not straight edge, but I totally respect people who are and don't pull the whole "you don't know what you're missing" crap on them because that is me, forcing my lifestyle on someone else. Treat others how you want to be treated- it's a great philosophy to go by, no matter who you are.

i'm kind of the same, i'm totally unsociable..but i've not always been like this..it's only coz i'm so disapointed of people..i have the feeling that most of the people tries to manipulate and gets something from me so i prefer to stay alone.
