age: 26 (Dec 30, 1985)
MEMBER SINCE: February 2008
occupation: Student of the aesthetic in every aspect.
stats: Just another Lady Godiva.
makes me sad: Daft fools.
body mods: I'm just a bloody mess & filled to the brim.
makes me happy: nearly anything from the post-punk era, performing bits of ballet in public places.
most humbling moment: I've simply got no shame.
into: The occasional late night venue, midnight mobbing, tangled limbs beneath unyielding sheets, aesthetic appeal, getting lost in the sensation of fabricated bliss.
gets me hot: Trashy etiquette, intellectuals consumed by delicious garb, words drenched in an accent, strapping lads & wenches.
I can't remember if I was at peace with myself at this time last year. I wish I could, and I think that I was. However, I am sure that the state I am in currently is not the most stable. It is this incredible lonely, needy fixation.
"Money does not equal happiness" is a given quote to live by correct? Or so it's supposed to be. I don't agree.
Now before you begin to antagonize me with the "you're wrongs". Hear me out.
Material things can be bought with money, yes, true. However, money can get you the gratification you want. My argument here is not for a material. It is for my want for care, and love, and adoration. The way to get these things, is by money. For gas, a plane ticket, a vehicle rental. Plain and simple. Money.. That is all I need.
My true answer.. A Drive. All of that, just to say that I want to go on a lengthy drive. To be cared for. To be loved. To be adored. Once again, plain and simple, I miss my friends, and who better to give me those gifts?
I miss the thought of packing away my life into a suitcase, of traveling in a direction that leads to the unknown, of settling for a few days and continuing on at the sign of the dawn. Oh Europe, someday...
There you have it.. Money equals happiness, in an oxymoronic kind of way.
