Had a pretty good band rehearsal Friday. I really enjoy playing guitar instead of bass these days. I like to play bass but not in a band anymore. I will record it and write with it but I'm through backing other preople up on stage. You get no respect from other players and the audience thinks you are just a valet for the rest of the band! I call it the (Murderface Syndrome) At any rate I can play guitar all night with no audience and feel good packin' up. I get an empty feeling playing bass all night. I have a great bassist and drummer now and treat them like the treasures they are!
The stupid bowl came and went. We watched the puppy bowl instead, I can't stomach Beyonce, what a fuckin' hack! She is not a great voice of our age. Just another gold tooth booty shake. No melody or harmony to speak of, just noise and attitude.
