So today was a bag of shit with a few high moments. Seems the people I work directly with, just want to point out everyone's flaws or tell them what to do, but not take care of their own crap. This morning the other guy I was working with conveniently found something else to do so I had to repair a motor problem on a belt in our plant. Thanks to that crap my knees now ache, being on a concrete floor for 2 hours.
On a high note, after 2 chairs we ordered for the office broke within a few weeks of getting them, the manager is willing to pay twice the price for a chair that won't break. And they finally replaced our 9 year old decrepit computer with a brand spanking new one. I knew it would be close to better than sex at work, but damn it blew my mind how fast that new computer is.
Had a job interview just over a week ago, down in Corpus Christi, TX. I think it went well. They kept me there all day. They said I should have an offer very soon. They even called me Friday to let me why they hadn't sent one yet. The guy who has to approve it, has had a death in the family and not been at work. So maybe that will come through this week and I can find out if I am going to be moving soon.
