A friend of mine once said that getting off of heroin was easier than quitting smoking. He never did, in fact, quit smoking.

It's kind of creepy when you realize what habits you have unconsciously been using to entertain yourself when you are bored. I found out all kinds of interesting shit like that when I fasted last winter.

Hooray for quitting smoking! Nothing but the best of luck and encouragement for you! I don't think many people could begrudge you a cigarette and a half. Little steps at first I'm told.

If it is of any relief, let me tell you that you made me realize how much I smoke when I drink because I'm bored and realize how much I drink when I smoke because drinking without smoking very much sucks -and the contrary :ee:
