Transmission goooooooooood

All in all, baby's first transplant went well. But of course, there's something else wrong and we're waiting for the parts...namely...pin switches (again
) and an oil gasket. (My oil pan is threatening to leak any day now.) And I wanna get it detailed. A girl needs a clean car for Springtime! (and NJ Road tripping).
The room is done, and I'm (still) in the process of decrappifying. So far tonight, I got rid of two large trash bags (mostly papers and stuff I didn't need anymore) and another large box of tag sale items. I told Dad that if I don't make enough from this tag sale to retire on, I'm giving up. I was kidding of course, but I should be able to make a killing. Or at least an assault.
I'm done with this stuff for the night though. It feels really good to get rid of all of this...I'm feeling cleansed. Except for the dust
! As soon as the room is decrappified, it's getting cleaned from top to bottom- mattress is being vaccuumed and flipped over, floor gets swept, vac'd then mopped with Murphy's Oil Soap, windows get cleaned (I heart Windex), and then the real fun begins- my furniture gets to go back to where it belongs! I hope to be done by tomorrow night. I can't freaking wait to sleep in my own bed again. 
The new cabinets come tomorrow too- I think this is where it gets interesting.
Home improvement is very trying.
My Dad is watching 'Old School'...
He's weird. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree though.

cleaning in the spring is so very cleansing. i've been doing a bit of it here and there myself and it feels so damn good.

I hope your transmission is new. I cracked my trannie in my old car and my insurance only covered enough $ for a used one and it slowly fucked up the rest of my car. It was like poison seeping through to the rest of its neighbors. I swear.
