My room is blue
They'll be done with the walls by the end of today, and then the trim will be finished tomorrow, so I get to move back in on Wednesday.
Now to find new curtains, bedding, an area rug, and to get rid of 85% of the crap that I have.
At least I know my room will be clean and pretty much clutter-free when all is said and done.
(no clutter = no dust = no sneezies =
)
I will try and post pics as soon as possible.
My transmission got approved by Ford.
The bad news is that they didn't approve the labor costs, which isn't a big deal, thanks to the National Bank of Dad.
The rest of the bad news is that my car is worth only $1800
*pout* Oh, and I've got an oil leak.
I dealt with leaks for all 80K miles of my old car. Enough already! So they're fixing that, too. Woo! That's a good thing.
With the painters here, it's difficult to function- I feel really weird in my own house. Like, when I was cooking breakfast, I felt like I was being watched...eww...icky...and what makes it worse is that I have a giant basket of laundry just sitting out in my room. They're all on the second floor (where I am now) and that just happens to be where my bathroom is....I'm so not showering with these four weirdos here. I'm going to trek over to my Aunt's house and shower there...only problem is...no digital cable *double pout* but I can do my laundry there too. Hmm. I think I'll do that.
I haven't slept well since we got back from vacation. It's totally weird, I htink it's because I got used to sleeping with Michael, and once you're sleeping alone again it's harder to get accustomed to it. Maybe it's also because my bed isn't nearly as comfortable as the beds at the Sheraton were! (That may have something to do with it). I just really hate being tired all the time- even if I take a Benadryl or two to sleep it's not the same. Ugh!
Anyway. My dog is hanging out with the painters. So far she has paint on her ears, tail and has left little white pawprints all over the place. It's cute.
Off to walk said dog, do laundry, and shower. La de da. Leave some love.
