Bit of an update, but never too extensive. No need to bore with details buuuuuuuuuuut here goes
1) My Da is doing very well, still at home and restricted to a limited range of motion with his left arm but for the most part he's back to his old self. Which I am extremely happy about.
2) Come next month I'll be looking for a roomie...yay.
3) Work has been slow, prepping my resume for the worst just in case and will be looking for an additional job since I need a few monies.
4) Saving for another car to buy outright so I can offload my current vehicle and get out of that debt. New car is cool and all but I'm fully capable of maintaining one a few years old and keeping it tip-top while not having to make payments etc
5) After this year I have very few trips planned for next year so I can save for an adventure to the Patagonia region of South America with my friend Ben from WA. We both want to go so....we will.
6) Biggest decision I've made recently: By year end next year I will be moving up to Washington again, hopefully for good this time. I love it too much up there to NOT try it again.
So yeah...that's about it at the moment.

So good to hear about your dad healing and being in such good spirits. 
I would do the same in the car situation. As long as its decent and gets me from here to there reliably, then yeah, its all good.
There is a slight chance I may be moving up north as well. The job market here sucks.

I'm glad to hear about your dad.
I'm with you regarding cars. I always pay cash for something a bit older, then take care of it myself. Car notes are evil!
