Three weeks and two days later...
I'm very much enjoying being back on SG, though I often find myself wishing I had more time to look through all the new sets and read all of the blogs. Life has really picked up the past few weeks. School is in full swing -- taking 12 hours of graduate coursework, plus clinicals.
Major events from the past three weeks:
January 25 -- Saw Cat Power in concert

January 28 -- Resumed seeing my counselor
January 31 -- Went dancing at a local Country Dance Hall/bar
February 1 -- Hosted a conference at my university for local professionals and students
And, just yesterday (February 9), I got my oil changed and had an instax picture of the lovely Radeo framed and displayed on my wall.

I fell in love with the picture at first glance, online, and knew that I had to have it.

The picture is mounted on matte with a subtle floral design (black on black) that complements the movement of Radeo's hair as well as her tattoos. The frame itself is plain black and much larger than the picture, but without any decor or distraction, it leads the eye directly to the image.

Placed next to a mirror, with Radeo facing the direction of the mirror, there becomes created the illusion that she is admiring herself through the frame in the mirror. In admiring the image in its current placement, you too are admiring her two-fold and are participating in the same meditation, both real and illusory.
Also, a MAJOR thank you to Tierney for the best Valentine's card I've ever received!

I hope everyone has a warm Valentine's Day full of love, happiness, or at least a sufficient amount of alcohol and sulking.
Much love.
