My apartment-mates and I are having a party. It's cannibal-themed. We're going on a search tomorrow for red velvet cake mix and various food dyes so we can make some skin-colored frosting. Mostly we're just having fun thinking of things like serving navel oranges, kidney beans, granny smith apples and bloody marys.

And yes, we're calling it the Donner Party.

I'm so fucking tired I want to cry. But instead, I have to go read about black feminism and blues music in preparation for a paper I need to write tomorrow. If I were to choose to be smart, I would write two or three papers tomorrow... but we'll see how motivated I feel. In an attempt to run and hide from my finals workload, I rearranged my entire room to improve the energy flow. To be fair, my mother is an interior designer and if I'm not in an an aestheic personal space, I have to change it until it's beautiful. Otherwise, I can't concentrate. Perhaps this is strange.

Bed? I'm sitting in my bed right now, but I'm so far from being able to actually sleep in it. What a tease.
