most humbling moment: Visiting Paul Booth's tattoo shop/art gallery in Manhatten a few years ago and realizing that although it had been a lifelong dream of mine to exhibit in the city I had still yet to do it, and at that time I wasn't even progressing in my photography at all, I had become stagnant and I needed to make a change. Fortunately it was a great kick in the ass and when I lost my job about 8 months later I took the opportunity to go back to school.

makes me happy: The perfect amount of PB&J sandwich (which is 1 & 1/2, fyi), Shiny sounds, jumping in puddles, loud thunderstorms, my dogs, my cameras, Jon Stewart, the smell of snow, roughing it, jokes that make you laugh so hard you snort.
