So, now I'm finally a paramedic, I've started going to the gym on a regular basis and I've pretty much stopped drinking entirely. At first it was weird, social life is diffrent but overall I'm alot happier and soon as it starts to warm up I can start surfing again. 2009 looks pretty promisin all and all. some minor setbacks but I'm thinking it's gonna be a great year. the not drinking thing is kinda like good and bad...at first I really didn't know what to do with myself. but now it's starting to get easier, it made me realize how much of my life revolved around goin to the bar or gettin trashed at a party....I'm not claiming straight edge...I do have the occasional beer but not the excess I was in the habit of, this was my first sober st pattys day and It was still awesome to see the Murphys and I don't feel like I'm missing out...well I got a long shift tommrow..
