10. There are few things more awesome than waking up to an unexpected 25% raise, especially when money has been a thing of concern lately. That means I might have the skrillz to pay my billz. Niiiice.
9. And now, it is back to the grind. Working as a quasi-lawyer and waiting for my results... hoping to survive long enough to either land a full-time gig that I'd like or wait it out long enough for me to get my bar card and become infinitely more hire-able. Should be an interesting couple of months. At least I have better prospects than most.
8. Early indications are that I could get into Family law.
7. This last weekend was Chimay's engagement party in Sacramento. Had a lovely time hanging out with him and the old crew from college. Got some good flirting in with some very pretty ladies. Went to a yuppie bar with a $20 cover and still managed to get drunk enough to have a good time. Slept on the window-ledge of a 26 story hotel room. You know, your typical weekend in Sacramento.

3. Tonight, I return to practicing with my band in earnest. We've had a meeting, re-focused and come up with some ways to keep things fresh. The main thing is, I need to write more material. And I've got plenty of things to write about, I've just been lazy. Well now I need to get on that shit.
2. I'm getting my hair did today by the lovely and talented Coco. And despite be_elzebe and oyaji's protestations to the contrary, I think it looks good wearing it down. So bite me assholes, I'm keeping it that way. For now.
