Thank fuck the clocks have gone forward. Can't wait for the late summer evening drinking to start once the weather gets nice. Bad weather gets me down and a good sunny spell is long overdue.
Films I've seen recently
Shutter Island - 8/10
Little predictable but a great ending and Leo was great.
The Hurt Locker - 7/10
It would probably get an 8 if I'd not watched it on a crappy little screen. Really good though, really intense in some parts and nice cinematography.
Exit Through The Gift Shop - 9/10
Banksy's new movie. Amazing. So damn funny and also a great look behind the scenes of the street art scene. Brilliantly thought out. Go see it, but don't go expecting a film about the man himself. It's a mock-doc (including some brilliant real street artists..and one not so real).
I hate to say it but I've started watching so many girly programmes. Not sure why, I guess having too much spare time can be a bad thing. But I'm now addiced to Glee, 90210 and Desperate Housewives.
My little bro has been doing a lot of tattoo designs for people, he's just hoping some people who want decent ideas turned into tattoos would contact him. So far he's mainly had our sister's friends asking for their kid's names in chavvy lettering... Hit him up if you want him to try anything out for you: Ben Walker Tattoo Design He also has an upcoming clothing range and art work on it's way. I'm going to be taking some promotional photos for him so looking forward to that. Here's a little shot I took of him to see what kind of thing he was looking for.
Saying that, I'm wanting to practice on people to try and get into the modelling photography area so if there are any willing volunteers reading this then give me a shout.

My brother got a new tattoo this week. He designed it himself and still has the underside of his forearm to to. This is just the outline of the outerside (is that even a word?) of his forearm:
It says a few thing on it, but the main section says 'through the struggle'. My little bro has been battling depression for the past 3 or so years. Hes slowing getting over it and seems to be happier each day. I guess this is some kind of message to himself to not give up.
He also got a new hamster, named Knuckle.
Cute little thing. So tame. He will jsut sit in your hand, on your chest, bed, wherever and just settle down. Definately put a smile on my brother's face since getting him.
We both went to see Gallows in Swindon, Which was fuckin' awesome as usual. Managed to meet the guys before and after the gig and they were pretty cool.
Anyone else ever been to the Swindon Furnace? Mad little venue.
Not really been up to much this week. Saw my sick Grandad in london on the weekend, he seems to be doing good. Drank a whole bottle of Sailor Jerry Saturday night while fooling around on chatroulette.com. Man, that site is so damn funny. Wayyyy too much cock on there for me to handle though haha!
Revsing for my stupid re-sit this week. Love revising. It's SO MUCH FUN.

Wow. Long time since I've posted a blog on here. Can't say I've been around much to do so recently but I'm going to try and get around to it more often from now on. I need to catch up with a few people on here and get back into the swing of things!

Not really been up to much, work has been crazily busy, Christmas was great (but had it's ups and downs), the snow was annoying and I've been spending too much money when I should be saving.
The last few weeks I've been revising for work-related exams. I had my exam yesterday and failed.
Really fucking annoying as I put a lot of work into it and now it means I have to spend my free time over the next 2 to 3 weeks revising over and over again. Joy!
Not been taking many photos, I have loads to take off my camera and edit and I'll be taking more in the next few months now that I have my new flash gun and off-camera flash set-up which I'm excited about using. I can really start moving my photogrpahy in a good direction now.
Anyway, when I have more interesting stuff to say and show I'll blog again. Until then, say hi. I'll try and catch up on people's blogs soon.

Seeing as I just got a pay rise and I have a bit more free time on my hands I'm gonna renew my membership. Although I'm way behind on reading other people's blogs etc I'm still going to carry on talking to myself for a bit!

- won again at pro-five (15-3!) and are now comfortably 2nd in the league
- worked late nearly every night
- went to the gym and kicked it hard on the iron
- saw Up in 3D which was awesome
- chilled Friday night with work people in Clifton

- seeing Green Day (not looking forward to it but nevermind)
- revising for exams when I get the chance (work-related professional qualifications)
- trying to clear my backlog of work

Not been on here for quite some time but it's because things have been really good lately and I've not had much spare time to get online. I've got a lot of catching up to do but here is a little update....
- It turns out I don't have leukemia :] My blood platelets are normal for some weird reason and I feel healthy for once.
- Started my new job and I love it so far. Longer hours but I hardly notice as the days just fly by.
- No longer single. Found myself a very special girl and things are going so well at the moment. It's been a while since I've had a serious relationship so it all feels pretty exciting and intense. I'm so happy.
I think that's about it, the main things anyway! Will post a longer blog soon I hope, complete with some photos.
