So, I've never posted a blog here. Some mysterious person reactivated my account and I am very gratefull to them. So, I figure, since this person wishes to remain unknown, then best way I can thank them is by posting a blog here. So, where do we start? And will anyone read this? So, I guess it doesn't matter really. I work as barstaff. No, I'm not a bartender or waitstaff. I'm the one, when you go to the bar that you have seen doing a little everything. Whenever something needs to be done, I'm the one that helps all the staff out. A little serving, a little cooking, a little barback, a little bouncer. All the fun jobs you know. Most of the time it's fine. A good steady job with good money. Now, we are in a college town, and we get the fun frat rats and all the fun of the 21 year old testosterone. Never been too much of a problem for us to handle. Last night I had the joy of stopping a family straight out of the sticks from stommping a regular of ours simply because he came in. He comes in several times a week, never causes any kind of problem. He's in the industry too, and comes in for a couple of drinks before he heads home. Oh, and he's black. And that is why the redneck family robinson had a problem with him. On one hand you have one of the nicest people you see on a regular basis who would never even talk shit to anyone. On the other hand you have 5 rascist rednecks who want to dial back the clock a hundred years. Fuck that, and Fuck them. Wouldn't have let it happen anyway, but their racsist views really pissed me off. Now, I know this is a rant and if you read this far i thank you. But really? Is this the direction our society is headed?
