I'm truly jealous about you getting to see the Northern Lights. It's high on my list of to dos, but because you need to be near the article circle in winter...uh it's gonna be hard for this Miami boy.

You'll definitely want to check out Granada as well, it's a reasonable train ride from Seville and a much nicer city. Let me know if you want any other suggestions!

Oh! By the way, do you still have that "All the day" video game?

Ah, I mention it because the thread was bumped and a lot of the links are broken and people can't get the full epicness of it.

You should read Bill Bryson's Neither Here nor There. The first chapter is all about his attempt to see an aurora borealis. He spent two weeks in the dreariest city in Norway but he did end up seeing it and says it was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. The whole story is worth a read, as is the book if you're doing a cross continent trip. I'd lend you mine if I could.

But I have nobody to talk to, and I'm so tired of being alone. I haven't met anyone since October 22nd, except a doctor. My mom abondoned me, and now I am totally alone here.

I miss you and all of my friends in Europe.

yes, it does matter. I'm talking about pictures I took for my blog, not from sets I got paid for by SG.

I can't understand Kurosawa artworks at all, it's too much to me. I love Ichikawa Kon the best, and his artworks from 1960 to 2006 are all amazing, and now I'm watching his last movie,

Also my favorite defector is Hideo Gosha. He's the best director for movies of underground business and catfight,

canada's pretty conservative these days. it's really unfortunate. :/ all of us leftists in canada really wish we lived in scandinavia, but instead we're stuck here, trying to change a system that resists at every turn.

i'd have loved to have had a social studies teacher like that in high school. teachers who are openminded and experienced and wise teach their students more than just the material, and that is the most valuable thing.
