Afternoon all! Got some lovely, typical English weather outside my window, clouds, and slightly cold, maybe rain later!
I'm so jealous of all the sunshine I'm seeing stateside!
So, what have I been doing? Hmmmm...
Working hard (for once) which tired me right out, and I laid in for an extra hour or so this morning which NEVER happens! Glad for it!
I got all excited today because my mate said did I want to watch Scott Pilgrim! I was like fuck yeah, then he told me he meant the game, which is still cool, but not that fussed! But anyway, instead I will be going out this evening to lovely Brighton, see if I can make some new friends tonight! If not, have a laugh at the least!
I've been spending some time making some dance music, really really enjoying it, and I've actually spent a lot of hours working on one song which I kinda finished today. It's pretty basic but beefy, ahhh, hard to explain.
Anyway, when I have something worth sharing here, I will. I think my next song will be drum and base, see what works for me.
Spotted some STUNNING girls in hopefuls (my favourite section - feels like you're contributing to the site) such as Casablanca, gorgeous girl who needs a set!

Maaaaaan I'm bored at work. It's been quiet for a week now, which means a lot of time staring at the screen trying to find something interesting to read online!! Had a nice little bit of work flow in today but didn't keep me going past 4pm.
Luckily SG has been there for me later in the day when less people might walk in!! There should be a re-skinned version of SG without naked lady bits all over the show!!
So, let's spend some time writing stuff down for good measure!
Paintballing tomorrow is the best thing happening!! Gotta take a bunch of new friends for an hours drive over to Tonbridge, where I've never been, to go shoot people people in the woods, cannot wait! A small adventure and a knackering day, brilliant!!
I've spent the day thinking about finding some kind of exercise to take up, and mountain biking has stuck in my mind, maybe I can spend some money there, keep fitter and something more interesting than jogging?! Martial arts sounds good too, but I did some when I was younger and I'm not sure it gelled otherwise I'd still be doing it!
Then again, i've just spotted the Roland SH-01 synthesizer for about £600 in SOS magazine, VERY tempting, I don't really need it, but I reckon a nicely laid out synth like that could teach me a lot! I love my alesis micron but the embedded menus mean making quick changes and finding bugs hard! Even I know now I'm making excuses to buy something new and cool!!!
It's quite nice to just type stuff out of my head and into actual writing!

I'm trying to sort out a snowboarding holiday beginning of next year, but none of my close friends seem to be able to join me, and I can't imagine going away for a week on my own, with only a few hours of snowboarding a day!

So here's some chat about that... phoned up on a saturday with intent to get the artwork changed to my spec based on my twin's design and the awesome tattooist (Robb at Eternal Tattoos, Dorking) said he could slot me in today as it was walk in day. So I jump in my car and drive down, 2 hours after arriving and walking about Dorking I get my tat done, takes about an hour and I love it! It's just getting to the last stage of scabbing now, loads of dead skin coming off every time I wash it, SO HARD NOT TO PICK IT OFF

I'm loving playing NHL 10 at the moment, any sport that involves the cold I seem to crave, as I'm also looking at a snowboarding holiday, just need to persuade someone to come with me! since the world cup I seem to be enjoying watching sports more, highly unlike me, and I don't know whether it will last, but I'm very much looking forward to the start of the English Ice Hockey (Dunno the league name...) this season, only a few months to go!!

Haven't updated in a while so let's write some stuffs down...
First up, we have the band, hAND! I'm loving slowly making more and more music with these guys, and playing synth with them is my favourite thing to do right now, problem is my laziness kicks in and I don't bring my synth inside to play when we're not there! Still all works and I'm really proud of a growling, haunting bass patch I created the other day to sit behind some jazzy piano!!
Secondly, I need to pick an evening class in something creative, almost do it blindfolded so I don't think about it too much! Maybe silverwork? Too much time admiring crafts on Etsy I think!
I totally love Knitzy and Violetrose's SOTD, they're both gorgeous girls with great tattoos!

Bleh. That about sums it up, I've been feeling grotty the last 2 days, sore throat, bunged nose, sore lips, sore nose, head full of cotton wool. I'm only just starting to feel better. Gotta be better for Friday as I have extended my bank holiday week to watch my friend get her first tattoo on friday, hoping it will inspire me to finalise my idea(s).
I'm still addicted to going through the MR sets and giving my ever so amazing feedback, feels like I'm giving something back somehow?!

LUSH sunshine at the moment, finding every excuse to lounge around in it. Even at lunchtime's sitting near the window reading my book. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is what I'm reading, it seems ok so far, but I prefer books to take me somewhere unusual and this seems pretty run of the mill so far.
Putting some more serious thought into a tattoo I want, thinking of using my family name's moto and logo, a winged spur with some latin that means 'never unprepared' kinda like a scouts saying from here in the UK but looks better in latin!
Watching one of my friends get her first tattoo on the 30th, some awesomely SEXY leopard print, can't wait to see the process and get inspired.
I need some new music to listen to at the moment, I think i've rinsed Enter Shikari for all I can, not sick of them but getting close.

Had a blast over the easter break, laser questing on the saturday and watching my first Ice Hockey game at Guildford, was an awesome time, awesome game, so fun to watch, never got into spectating so much before. Just pissed that I decided to go at the end of the season with the next game out of reach. Got something to look forward to next winter though, normally don't have much!
Got a nice fresh haircut, feels fine.

I've had membership for fuck knows how long now, but I think I should finally start to contribute to this awesome site! I just wish I could read it at work where most my browsing time is. I totally love watching progress bars all day!
