OK Doc - good to see you again -20 questions time:

A friend of mine just literally dropped dead on Sunday in DC. He was 37, 6' and ~250lbs. Built like a football player. He was a cop and in at least OK shape. No family history of heart trouble and he never complained about anything but some mild back pain now and then.
He got out of his cruiser to retrieve a dog that had gotten away from a little girl, ran about a half block, and fell when stricken. There were no defensive wounds on the palms, so he didn't try to break his fall hands-first as reflex would direct.
A witness said he tried to get up for a few seconds afterwards but could not. He seemed very slow, slurred and weak for a few seconds, then probably died at the scene.

The DC autopsy was inconclusive and no cause of death is listed yet. The case has been transferred to another agency, most probably the FBI lab.

I'm thinking aneurism.
