It has been awhile. Yup. I finally logged back in, not that much of anyone cares, but I did. Today was a grand day of trail riding on the mountain bike...only ate it once...and have the burns to prove it! As of lately I have been dealing with some abdominal issues. I have had some pretty severe pain in the right lower quadrant of my belly. Very sharp pain that gets worse on certain movements or by pressing down on it.
My medical training which is very limited to really only making noises and turning on the lights to the ambulance led me to believe I may have appendicitis. It wasnt as severe as most cases I have encountered before...but something wasnt right. I prescribed myself in a round about way some antibiotics in hopes that it was just an infection in the lining of the appendix and not it actually starting to rupture. So far, so good. The pain has gone down and the antibiotics seem to be doing the trick.
Work has been busy...I survived the RNC...the protesters behaved...and I got paid a lot of overtime to sit on my ass.
