Since he had to be hospitalized just before the last time he was scheduled to lecture, I couldn't miss Stephen Hawking this time, so Reid and I got tickets. The added bonus was a performance of Holst's The Planets by the ASU Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by NASA photos and CGI fly-bys of the planets and some of their moons..

Uranus, The Magician (hehehe)... or at least its moon Miranda
And the man himself!! Even from the nosebleed section I could feel the smarts emanating from him..
It was pretty much the awesomest thing to happen in a while..
