Hey guys!



I'm back in Boston, seeing my family (things are better for the most part!) and helping organize gay pride in the city! Yay! And just catching up with friends here.

I return to Chicago mid June and I have a summer job and hopefully will be shooting another set! I really need a pink haired one hehe!

It sounds cheesy, but I was bored today and on the SG Youtube channel and I just got this weird sense of pride...like I'm fucking PROUD to be a part of this community and redefining beauty. It's awesome, and I've met so many great people here. Thank you to you all <3

Ooh, and I'm seeing Garbage in August! So excited! I've loved them since I was about 14! The new album's amazing, by the way!

The future is scary. But I think I know what I want to do. I've done a lot of reflection on myself and my life right now and I think I need to stop worrying about what other people think, maybe even including my mother. I need to do what makes ME happy.

Drop out of this school, start at another that won't put me into so much debt maybe, continue modeling, start burlesque classes, be my fucking self and not some fashion drone.

I don’t want to be a part of that world. It isn’t me. I’m creative, and I’m more than capable of succeeding in fashion, but the truth is I’m not enough of a bitch to make it anywhere. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’d rather not have to trample other people down to get to the top, which is basically what you have to do in fashion.

I’ll be myself. I’ll be clever. I'll be naked. I’ll do things you might not always like. But at least I’ll be happy and not feeling like I have to conform to any stupid stereotype. Fuck being a pretentious artist. Fuck it. I’d maintain more dignity taking my clothes off than I would staying in this department.

I’m making this realization now, and it feels great.

Long time, no talk.

This month has been so cray-cray so far. It started off with my mum finding out I'm an SG and basically being really upset with me, but everything's better now I think

Then there was drama in other areas of my life and so on.

Had my interview for my school's fashion dept., so we'll see how that goes. I hear back this week!

Oh, and I got my SG tank, some stickers, and lounge pants in the mail today. Yay!

I can't believe I made it on the front page!

These past few days since I saw the little SuicideGirl tag next to my name I've been obsessively checking to see if my set's up on the front yet.

First words out of my mouth to my boyfriend this morning were "CHECK SUICIDEGIRLS FOR ME!" He did, and sure enough, I was on the front page!

I screamed. I yelled "oh my god!" I was waaaay too excited about it hehe. Pretty sure his roommates thought we were having sex. Haha.

So, so, so grateful for all the support on here and Writeboy who really made this happen. Shooting my next set with him next Monday hopefully. I'm so excited!

On top of all this, the corset that I'm making for my corsetry class at school is turning out really well. When it's fully done I'll post photos. But I think it's going on display after critique next week. Excitement!

If there's anything I really dislike, it's facebook drama. I just had a status posted about me and how I think I'm hot shit because I'm a Suicide Girl. This person's friends then went on to call me ugly and all sorts of things.

I just wanted to say that yeah, there are people who are going to say negative things, but what I should be focusing on are the POSITIVE things. Like all the support from my friends and everyone on here. I've met some wonderful people on here and I'm just so happy about that.

I'm proud of myself for coming this far and I'm glad that people appreciate what I'm doing. So thank you. I'm so happy to call myself a SuicideGirl. Really do love this whole community.

I can't wait to do another set for you.

So I'm in casting to be in a music video for a band called Fashion Bomb. You should check them out, they're AWESOME. So yeah, I'm really excited and I really, really hope I get the part in the video.

In other news, my boyfriend's band, The Obscene Kiss is playing their first show in Chicago soon opening for Lockjaw, so that's super exciting too!

Aside from that, just working on a lot of school projects. I wrote a whole essay today! Yay!

My set goes up as set of the day on the 22nd.EXCITED!

I logged in, saw I had more comments on my blog than usual, and thought "oh, that's interesting!" Then I saw the little pink thing beside my name and that I got my first choice of name and...*squee*
