Hmm... my first blog post. Ok, here it goes... I had an interesting thought today. Among the many logical contradictions of Judeo-Christian God, another one occured to me: It would see that a entity who controls the Universe should be able to control the electro-chemical activity in a person's brain. So, that being the case, one could reasonably argue that free will does not exist, because if some one has brain activity manipulated in some way, that person could hardly be considered to be making decisions for themselves. That being the case, why, according to Judeo-Christian beliefs, are individuals rewarded and punished in the after life, based on their decision in the land of the living, if God manipulates them and makes their decisions for them? Just something that occured to me. Also there's the question of what happens if God, an all powerful being, decides to commit suicide, but that idea popped into my head years ago.

Edit: I should probably note here that I bear no ill will to those who subscribe to religions of any sort (indeed, I think a good argument can be made that religion can sometimes be beneficial), I'm just posting a random thought.
