I'm now a complete corporate whore... make the big bucks, no creative freedom, and basically have 'the life.' Sucks. Oh and I just turned 30.

Life changes rapidly sometimes... I just had 2 job offers that were quite lucrative. One was in San Fran and one was here in the Minneapolis area. I decided to go with the Minnesota one due to Cost of living and shit.

My question is, at what point do you start to consider your self a corporate whore? I think I just got the label.

Want to sell/trade one Presidential Administration.

Great fixer-upper opportunity for the right person/international coalition The vehicle leaks oil, has terrible mileage and even when working at full capacity doesn't seem to go anywhere. May need smaller rear-view mirror as the current one precludes driver from seeing the road ahead, but they have an excellent view of what they just missed, providing an excellent rubber-necking experience.

MIke, one of the guys I went camping with posted some pics online, I have more but am trying to decide on a hosting provider. You can look at the pics HERE (I'm the one with tattoos in most of the pics)

I'm back in town, will upload some pics later.

I might be moving to San Francisco though, which would be a change of pace.

Well I said I'd scan in and post a pic of what I looked like back when.

Here it is:

Wow, I fucked up something to go from that to the guy you see to your left. But I'm working on getting back in that ballpark.

Update: 2 weeks into the aforementioned Weight program, I've lost 13 pounds. That's like 6.5 lbs a week, gods if I could keep that up. Not going to fucking happen, I know, but it would get me to where I want to be soo much faster.

I'm going canoeing in the BWCA starting Thursday for a week, no computers, cellphones, instant messengers, the only technology I'll have with is probably my digital camera. Unfortunately I won't be able to upload any news next weekend as I'm out. I'll probably post some cool wilderness pics when I get back in my folder, I'll add a note when I do. Later.

Being a corporate whore sucks, I was having fun at a former coworker's impromptu birthday meandering (different employer, I guess I'm the former coworker in the equation) but since I get up at 4:30ish in the morning to walk a few miles (I'm trying to get into any shape besides round) I had to make my exit a little earlier that I would like to.

Good news!?: A little over a week ago I started a new 'weight management program.' It's eerily similar to one that I was on before I joined the Air Force 8 years ago. During that program I went from around 330 to 222 in a matter of 3 months, the problem though was that I didn't undergo any meaningful 'lifestyle change' so I eventually gained that weight and a little more back. So now I enter that fray again. Why? I liked running, its rhythm matched the song that I hear when I close my ears, if that makes sense. But back to the lecture at hand, last week I lost 9 lbs. roughly, Before anybody goes on to say that's not healthy know this, comparatively that's nearly the same fractional value as somebody that is close to a normal sized weight trying to lose a few pounds, so needless to say, I'm a little stoked. If I remember I'll scan in a pic of me in my blues when I get the chance.
