While I think that the new Green Lantern movie will be good I can't help but wish that Reynolds had been cast as a different Justice League-er, namely the Flash. Yeah, ponder that! Now who are they gonna get to play the Flash?

Pains: Causes & Cures:
Saturday morn: Woke up w/ tremendous lower back pain, must've slept wrong.
Sat night: Dropped bottle of rum on big toe while rummaging through freezer for ice pack for back causing tremendous big toe pain.
Sun-Mon: Limped around at work & a 2yr old's b-day party POSITIVE that big toe would get stepped on.
Just now: As per Richie's advise used a lighter, a nail & a drill bit to bore a hole in big toe nail to release some pressure. Now I know what it means to be a man.
Right now: Killing afore mentioned bottle of rum.

Something has been on my mind a lot lately, the over commercialization of Christmas. Now, being a fan of Christmas it is very sad to me to watch this happen year after year. It seems to me that by removing only 1 small & ultimately unimportant tradition from this beloved holiday one might be able to better enjoy all the other more important aspects. So, it is by this reckoning that I have made the decision to no longer partake in Christmas gift exchanges. I will instead be using my time & money making things for certain loved ones & donating to those less fortunate. This decision has been a long time coming for me & I'm very excited to finally see it to fruition. The point of this message is so that you will all know that you don't have to waste time & money on me for Christmas. However, I am accepting gifts in the form of hand made items & gestures as I do support that type of gift giving. I'd like to see more people do the same, stop lining the pockets of corporate America fat cats & do something that really means something. Katie is with me on this. Having said that I would like a 52" LED tv if anyone knows how to make one.
