What a beautiful day today. I feel like I'm getting a little older now, but when the sun comes out for some reason I feel alive and younger. I'm not even a sun worshipper, but I'm starting to realize the powers of the light.

Its officially June-uary in the pacific northwest and it is getting old. All across the country, I keep hearing reports of heat and more heat. Conversely, we keep rockin the 60 degrees and cloudy weather. Don't get me wrong, I don't want it to be hot, but I wouldn't mind t-shirt and jeans weather. A friend of mine said the other day in regards to the weather that its been so cold that he hasn't gotten to see the end-of-the-quarter "side boob" on campus this year and that he is disappointed. Ditto, Jim. Ditto.

I don't think that I fully understand SG. I tried to join a group a while ago and they said that I needed to be more than just a "girl collector" with my friends. But, I feel like the focus of this website is beautiful naked women, so making random friends with random guys seems a little strange to me. It feels like the website is sexually charged and I am heterosexual, so it feels a little like a homosexual pickup when I mentally link the "friend request" to the sexually charged nature of the site.

Does this make sense to others?

I am working on my dissertation. It is almost done. Hooray. Its due Monday and its long as hell. Let me know and I'll send it to you if you need a sleep aid, or a paper weight, or a booster seat for your niece or nephew.

Again, I'm not sure about why anyone of you would read this because we don't really hang out, but i thought that I would post the fact that I just played my first rock show with my band the other day and it was amazing. I used to play bass in this band that was kind of popular and we had all sorts of fun, but I haven't really done anything like that since I stopped. So, I wrote a bunch of songs and we had our first show and it was great. It was especially fun because I used to play in someone else's band, but now this is my music and people liked it. It was great fun. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.
